What is Mobilefy?
Mobilefy is a Shopify sales channel that turns your Shopify store into a native iOS and Android app. Products you publish to the Mobilefy channel become collections, product pages and a cart in your own branded app, and Mobilefy hosts the whole experience.
How do I turn my Shopify store into a mobile app?
Install Mobilefy from your Shopify admin, publish your products to the Mobilefy sales channel, design the app in the visual builder with a ready-made theme, then start the Android and iOS builds from the Builds workspace. Mobilefy guides you through Google Play and App Store review.
Does checkout stay on Shopify?
Yes. The cart opens Shopify checkout, so payments, taxes, shipping and fulfillment keep running in Shopify. Orders placed in the app are attributed to the Mobilefy sales channel in your Shopify admin.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You design the app in a no-code visual builder with theme packs, banners and collections, and preview it live on a phone before publishing. Mobilefy handles the native builds.
Does Mobilefy take a percentage of my sales?
No. Mobilefy is a flat subscription from €49/month. There is no commission on orders placed in your app.
Is my catalog synced with Shopify?
Yes. Products, prices and inventory published to the Mobilefy channel stay in sync with Shopify, so the app always shows your live catalog.
Can I send push notifications?
Yes, on the Growth plan and above. You can schedule push campaigns for drops, restocks and promotions, and set up automations that bring shoppers back to the app.
How long does it take to publish the app?
Setup takes a few days. Apple App Store review usually takes 24 to 48 hours, up to a week for a first submission. New personal Google Play accounts must first run a 12-tester closed test for 14 days, then review can take up to 7 days.
Is Mobilefy on the Shopify App Store?
Mobilefy is built by a Shopify Partner and has been submitted to the Shopify App Store. It installs from the Shopify admin and appears under Sales channels, next to Online Store.
